Orthodontics for Children
Most people think one should have all of their permanent teeth before seeing an orthodontist. However, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends your child be seen by an orthodontic specialist no later than age 7.
Scheduling an appointment does not mean your child will require treatment. Dr. Carlson will perform a complimentary exam and help you decide if early treatment is right for your child. In reality, many children have no need for early interceptive treatment, but when they do it can truly be life-changing.
