Leticia Montufar - Dental Assistant, RDA
Leticia Montufar graduated from Concord Career Institute in Anaheim with her DA and RDA training in 1996. She has since worked in the dental field for the past 15 years in various offices around the Southern California area. A perfectionist by nature, Leticia is well known for being exceptionally picky about the quality of dentistry that she participates in, and makes a perfect team-mate for Dr. Collins. Joining Dr. Collins office in 2008, she has been happily part of our family ever since, and is known for her professionalism and utmost care towards the needs of her patients.
Marlene Peñaloza - Office Manager
Marlene Peñaloza has been working in the dental field for ten years. Starting out her career in the front office, she moved up into the positions of Specialty Coordinator, as well as Treatment Coordinator for several well known Orange County dental clinics. She has since become the Office Manager for Surf City Smiles, and is the head of our office team.
Marlene is happy to answer any of your questions or concerns regarding your treatment, as well as financial options, and insurance benefits. She is well known for her bright smile, friendly personality, and bubbling laugh.
Sarah Quillian - Reception/Front Office
As a child, Sarah was interested in becoming a dentist for the artistic aspect of the profession, but instead received her education as a graphic designer. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with an Associate of Arts degree. Combining both things that she loves, design and dentistry, Sarah handles all of the website and social media platforms for Surf City Smiles. She has been working in the dental field now for the past two years, and has a great interest in Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as assisting Marlene in the front office by answering phones, scheduling patients, and coordinating treatment.
Sarah is known for her detail oriented nature, her artistic flare, and her humorous wit.
